Griptor L-EP is a versatile extreme pressure grease formulated with a lithium 12-hydroxystearate soap thickener and premium mineral base oils. Enhanced with antioxidants, rust and corrosion inhibitors, as well as extreme pressure and anti-wear additives, this grease provides excellent mechanical stability, load-carrying capacity, and superior protection against wear and corrosion.
The consistency of NLGI 0, 1 greases makes them suitable for use in the centralized lubrication system. These greases are recommended for steel mill lubrication and heavy duty plain and rolling element bearings and gearboxes requiring a semi-fluid grease, heavy duty, industrial applications where high unit pressures or shock loads are present. Griptor L-EP is also suitable for commercial vehicle and construction equipment applications such as chassis joints and pin bushing lubrication. NLGI 3 grade is recommended for inclined and vertical shafts applications even under severe vibrations.
