ARCH C5 is recommended for new diesel and gasoline engines requiring an SAE 0W20 VW 508 00 / 509 00, VW TL 52577 or Porsche C20 specifications. VW 508 00 509 00 specification is a unique specification and therefore is not backward compatible with older engines.
